I’m all about helping people look and feel their best. I’m a full on hype girl!
My passion for hairstyling flourished in show business, where my career began. I am a trained actor, who was living in London, who was sick of wearing really bad wigs for my performances. I decided to try and learn how to create different styles to help my performing career. Then, I realized, I wasn't half bad at it. I soon started working in a beautiful, award-winning, boutique salon in West London and that is where my confidence in my skills grew. So in 2016, I decided to bring my new skills back to NZ and open Dollhouse 'Do!
My favourite story to tell is about when Drew Barrymore grabbed my arm in a restaurant in London. She said to me "Oh my god. Your hair is amazing. But it's amazing on like 16 different levels" and I think I nearly had a heart attack. I thought, if Drew Barrymore believes in my hairstyling, a woman who has been walking on the glamorous red carpets since she could walk, maybe I should really pursue this? I have since styled hair in London, Paris, Australia, Asia and NZ, for weddings, photoshoots, pageants, theatre and an array of different parties. I also have a bloody cute cat called Gus. He’s a legend.
